Who are the healthiest children on the planet? That’s right, it’s chiropractic children!
You might say, “of course you would say that, you’re a chiropractor.” Research supports this health concept; a study in 1989, published by the Journal of Chiropractic Research indicates that the chiropractic children are healthier than non-chiropractic children.
The study indicated that “children raised under chiropractic care are less prone to infectious processes such as otitis media (ear infections) and tonsillitis, and their immune systems are better able to cope with allergens such as pollen, weeds, grasses, etc., as compared to children raised under allopathic (medical) care.” The chiropractic children were sick less often, used fewer antibiotics and were prescribed less medications.
A study published in the Journal of Chiropractic Research indicated that there is a “definite correlation between chiropractic care and superior health.” This study compared the health of children from 200 chiropractors to the health of the children from 200 pediatricians. The study revealed that the children under chiropractic care were much less likely to experience infections in the ear and tonsils and that their immune systems were more equipped to handle allergens. The chiropractic children reported a 69% otitis media (ear infection) free response, while the children raised under a medical model had only a 20% otitis media free response. Other observations noted were that the chiropractic children required fewer antibiotics and recovered quicker. The bottom line…children under regular chiropractic care are the healthiest kids on earth. Wouldn’t you want to give your children the best opportunity to be healthy?
